ほったらかしていた英語の勉強と
世の中の流れに対する疎さの対策のために（読売KODOMO新聞と同じ理由）
3ヶ月前からJapan Times alphaという英字新聞を購読していましたが、
先日解約しました。
Japan Times alphaとは。
解約の理由は３つです。
１）週刊だけど自分の読解ペースでは読み切れなかった。
２）全訳がある記事とない記事がある。
３）リスニング、全訳確認などのWEB学習コンテンツが
ウェブブラウザであっちゃこっちゃいかないといけなくて使いにくかった。
１）は完全に、自分が頑張れよという話です。
２）自分の興味ある記事を優先して読むのですが、
すべての記事に全訳があるわけではないので、
読み終わったぞ！となった時に和訳確認できなくて絶望、となりました。
３）に関しては自分なりに工夫してはみたのですが、
どうしてもやりやすい方法をみつけられずめんどくさくなってしまいました。
つまり↓こういうことです。
そんな中、私がやりたいこと（リーディング、リスニング、シャドウイング、全訳の確認、スピーキング）が、別で取り組んでいる「native camp」 のアプリの「デイリーニュース」という教材で全部できることが判明しました。
native campとは。
netive campはWebブラウザも使いやすいけど、アプリが使いやすかったのです。
これはまた別の記事で書こうと思います。
解約したので、もう公園で英字新聞読んでドヤれなくなるが残念です。

定期的に英語の勉強しては、中断、をずっと繰り返してますね。

Good evening, this is Izumi Oranka.
I have been subscribing to an English-language newspaper called Japan Times alpha for the past three months for studying to study English and get information about the world, but I canceled it the other day.
What is Japan Times alpha?
canceling reasons are...
(1) It is weekly. but I couldn't read it all at my reading pace.
(2) Some articles have full translations while others do not.
(3) It was not useful to use the web browser to access the web learning contents such as listening and checking the translations.
(1) My reading skills are not good enough.
(2) I prioritized reading articles that interest me.
Not every article had a full translation.
I'm done reading! I was desperate because I could not check the Japanese translation when I finished reading the article.
As for (3), I tried to find a way to do it, but I couldn't find an easy way to do it.
I found out that I could do everything I wanted to do (reading, listening, shadowing, checking all the translations, and speaking) with an app called "Daily News" from "native camp," which I am working on separately.
What is " native camp "?
native camp is an easy-to-use web browser, also the app was easy to use.
I will write about this in another article.
It's a pity that I canceled Japan Times alpha, so I won't be able to read English newspapers in the park anymore and feel smug.

I've been repeating that I study English regularly and then stop.
I would like to believe that I am making progress little by little.
